Relationships are like see-saws.The perfection doesn’t come from a dead still perfectly horizontal balance, but from the smoothness of the motion. Its when both enjoy the ups and the downs, without the fear of getting jerked off their seats. Its the willingness to let one side go up while the other side goes down, in the knowledge that both are part of the same team. One needs the others weight to reach the high point and then be willing to do the same for the other. A stationery see-saw stuck in one position is as good as sitting on it alone. Each relationship may be different in its speed or the highs and lows it achieves, but it takes the two sitting on it to figure whats perfect for them. One alone is inadequate to define that perfection.
