I know now
that you exist
the perfect creation
to the abstractions
of my mind,

and it dispels
the clouds of doubt
suffered for long
by the heart
and the soul,

time
took its toll
and a life
almost went by
searching in vain,

but at least
I know now
that the palette
which gave you
your colors,

was the same
that gave me mine.
