Some pictures
are so pretty
the eyes get fixated,

till boredom sets in
and they begin
to seem ordinary,

but some pictures
are pretty
and the heart gets fixated,

for it has heard
them talk
beyond their frame,

and neither time
nor dust
can tire or hide,

the eyes that can see
the extraordinary which exists
beyond the ordinary.

  1. Perspective is all I believe to be infinite in another, while being limited for the self.

Beyond the frame, as you said, and we discover something greater than the mere ordinary.

Though… it’s all too often that we become trapped in our own frame, our own “comfort zone”, enough so that we do require another to reach in where we have settled to pull us out.

Good poem. It has been thought-provoking. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you so much for reading and sharing your insights.

Yes, we do often get trapped in our own comfort zones, and sometimes it becomes convenient for us to also view others within frames. Stepping out of ones own frame or beyond anothers frame is a risk, which we often condition our own selves not to take.

      Thank you once again. πŸ™‚

  2. Ever the dreamer, it is especially difficult for Pisces to find anyone or anything that lives up to the dream. Our good friends from the island just departed after a visit, two Pisces together. And observing them was ever instructive. πŸ˜€ xxoxoxo

    1. Oh….I had a good laugh after reading your comment, Bela! πŸ˜€ Thank you for sharing that perspective….I am sure hosting and watching two fish together must have added so many new colours and perspectives to everything around!

      1. Omg, the joy in finding the soulmate! The merging! It’s a bit sticky for the likes of us, but having given birth to a sweet Fish, I understand the desire better than most πŸ˜‰ xoxo
