Blood Moon

there are forevers
there always were,
sometimes on earth,
always in the universe,

and i humbly disagree
with them,
that disagree
with this principle,

for i know
the sun
and the moon together,
are one such forever,

for even
in the minutes
the earth
shadowed the moon,

i saw the moon
turn red
at the earth
with displeasure,

as the sun’s
voice echoed
through
the universe,

“i miss you
even though i know
this out of sight
is only for a few moments…”

while the earth
forever ringing
green
with envy,

wished
that for once
it could move,
out of their way a bit faster.
