dropping
from the sky
the raindrop
wonders,
if its about
the ride
or the end
that really
matters,
neither
was his
existence
his plan,
neither does
he know
any whereabouts
of where
he’ll land,
so he looks
around
at the rest
as they
also fall,
unsure
participants
in a shared
journey,
some headed
to be sucked up,
by the thirsty
devouring earth,
some to be
liberated,
by existing
bodies of
already fallen
hallowed waters,
there is
comfort
in numbers,
as the ends
seem nearer,
and the clouds
thundering –
that karma
does matter,
really doesn’t add
a tangible solution,
to the
questions
that still remain
unanswered.
