‘magic’
was an
illusion,
which fooled
the eye,
a trick
of logic
or a deception
played,

uncaught
undeciphered,
a secret
it stayed,
till experience
taught better,
and
methodologies
lay unbared,

and somewhere
slowly,
magic
ceased
to exist,
in the meaning
it was,
coined
to portray,

evolution happens,
and it happened
again,
lost for words
to complete
a poem,
i searched
and searched,
for a word
for ‘you’,

and believe
it or not,
i now
believe,
in the original
meaning,
of magic
again.
